[Pictorial] Pakistan week begins at Lok Virsa, Islamabad

Islamabad, June 3: A one-week long cultural event titled “United we stand” began today at Lok Virsa, in the federal capital. The event was inaugurated by Samina Khalid Ghorki, Minister for National Heritage and Integrity. She said that the event is aimed at promoting Pakistan’s softer image and bringing the youth closer to their national heritage.

Stalls have been set for Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber – Pakhtunkhawa, Gilgit – Baltistan and Kashmir.

The event will continue till Saturday, 9th June, at the Lok Virsa.
