GB government planning to launch Information Ministry

Islamabad, July 23: The Gilgit – Baltistan Government has, finally, decided to launch the information ministry. Newly promoted general secretary of the PPP, MLA Aftab Haider, is likely to be the region’s first Information Minister.

According to details received from a reliable source, the notification in this regard will be issued within a couple of days. The source informed that two bureaucrats, Shehzad Shigri and Safdar Khan, have been named to lead the proposed ministry.
