Gilgit-Baltistan Council to meet on Thursday in Islamabad

Islamabad: A session of the Gilgit-Baltistan Council will meet for the first time during the premiership of Raja Pervez Ashraf. Members of the Council who act as advisers to the prime minister, Mulana Attaullah Shahab‚ Prof Saleem and Sayed Afzal, are expected to take oath of office.

Official sources have informed that Prime Minister Raja Pervaz Ashraf who is chairman of Council will preside over the session. The GB government’s annual budget will also be approved during the session.
