GISAK organized “Talent Hunt” programme in Karachi

Karachi: (PR) Gojal Ismailia Students Association (GISAK) organized a “GISAK Talent Hunt Program” on Sunday April 14, 2013 at National Council Hall Garden Karachi for the youth and students of Gojal based in Karachi.

Aim of the program was “Providing Opportunity to the students of Gojal based in Karachi to perform their hidden talents and enhance their capabilities and confidence”

Students from primary to graduation level had participated in the program, and performed their talent on various topics, which included dancing, singing, funny dialogue, funny acting, painting, skating, speech, sword dancing, musical instrument like rubab, theta, bansuri, guitar, piano, poetry, and debates were also presented by the students in the program.

The chief guest of the program was Dr Rehmen Alvi ,Sr  Consultant  surgeon The Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi, presiding  guest was Captain Atif  Saeed of  Pak Army, and Mirza Ali Senior Technical Engineer, Pakistan International Airline PIA.

 Before the activities Ms Aneela Ahmed Alvi, Vice Chairperson GISAK, Welcome to the guests and participants, and briefly described the GISAK Aims & objectives and   format of the Talent Hunt program.

Around 200 students from various disciplines and fields attend in the program and 35 students performed their prescribed talents, which was appreciated by the audience & guests.

During of the program, the chief Guest Dr Rehman Alvi Appreciated the students for the performances and encourage them for making efforts in their career to becoming as a role module in their fields. He also appreciated the ongoing GISAK role in organizing such events for the students of Gojal based in Karachi. Presiding Guests captain Atif and Mirza Ali urged the youth to utilize their talent and responsibility in their area for the betterment of people in the future.

Certificates were also given to the students who performed their role in the program.

At the end Honorary Secretary GISAK, Mr. Didar Ali Shah presented vote of thanks to the guests and participants for making the session a success and briefly discussed the plan and pipeline format of GISAK. The program started around 11:00am and concluded at 3:pm.

  2. Very positive initiative by GISAK and well attended session.Great opportunity to express their hidden talent by the youth of Gojal valley and the swats dance by a young girl was amazing.I congratulate Team GISAK and hope they will continue to organize such a positive events in future.
