Chitral: Local paraglider injured after falling from a height of almost 500 feet

Chitral, April 28: A local paraglider sustained injuries after falling down during a flight in the Beermogh Lasht area.

According to detail Ghulam Sarwar a member of Hindukush paragliding association along with his other pilots were flying at Beermogh Lasht mountain area when he was caught by strong winds, which carried him to the Chitral Gol Nallah (glacial stream). His parachute got closed during the flight, so he fell down from a height of almost 500 feet, receiving back injuries.

He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where he is said to be out of danger.
