KADO board of directors satisfied with organizational performance

Hunza, June 30 (PR): 14th Annual General Meeting of the Karakoram Area Development Organization (KADO) convened at Karimabad Hunza on 30th June, 2013. As a community led institution KADO has contributed significantly towards community development in the last 16 years especially in the area of information technology, environmental management, rehabilitation of physically challenged people and empowerment of women through enterprise development including embroidery, gems stone and shoe manufacturing.

The AGM members showed their satisfaction over the progress of the organization in the review period and uploaded the current initiative of training youth of GB in online employable skills.

Meanwhile, three members of the board of directors retired and were replaced through an electoral process. The outgoing directors include Mr. Javed Akhter, Mr. Sajjad Haider and Mr. Jalal U Din whereas the incoming directors include Dr. Babar Khan, Engineer Aman Ullah and Mr. Muhammad Muzaffar.

Chairman KADO Mr. Amjad Ayub took oath from the new directors and applauded the contribution of the outgoing directors which they have rendered for the institutional development in their tenure.

The AGM members agreed to arrange retreat sessions to set and fine tune the long term strategic plan of the organization to deal with the emerging development needs of the region.

  1. Commendable job BoD KADO. There are very few people who knows the performance appraisal. otherwise rest are just for smiling and grabbing ….. too many things to share …. but good luck for KADO leadership. Do we read another news from LSOs performance in Hunza valley. PT will receive a report on financial embazzlment and mismanagment in LSOs.
