Ismaili Regional Council welcomes Allama Sajid Naqvi in Hunza-Nagar

Karimabad, September 28: The Ismaili Regional Council for Hunza welcomed Allama Sajid Naqvi, leader of the Shia Ulema Council and Islami Tehrik Pakistan, in Hunza Valley at a ceremony held in Karimabad today.

Speaking at the welcome ceremony, Allama Sajid Naqvi praised the Ismaili community and their institutions for making positive contributions to the society. He also appreciated the role of Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) for progresses made in the field of education, health, culture and other areas of human needs.

Earlier, Sharif Khan, the President of the Ismaili Regional Council for Hunza, welcomed the scholar and his companions in Hunza and appreciated their role in building harmony among the sects of Islam.

Alama Naqvi visited different villages of the Hunza-Nagar district, where he addressed hundreds of people.

He has been on the tour of Gilgit-Baltistan during the last two weeks.
