Engineer Khurshid Alam from Astore takes charge as CEO of FESCO

Islamabad: Engineer Khurshid Alam has taken charge as the new Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he was serving as General Manager Technical.

Khurshid Alam hails from the District Astore located in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Khurshid Alam joined the Water and Power Development Authority as a junior engineer in 1978. He is regarded amongst the most committed and honest engineers of Wapda/FESCO.

Earlier, he has served on various important posts in Lahore and Islamabad. In 2011, he was promoted as Chief Engineer whereas in 2013 as General Manager. He also has rich experience in distribution, transmission and other related departments.
