Participants from Gilgit-Baltistan shine at 7th National Climbing Competition

Islamabad: Participants from Gilgit-Baltistan won five positions and one special award under different age categories during the 7th National Climbing Competition 2014, held at IBEX club Islamabad on 7-8th March 2014. The event part of the International Women’s Day celebrations.

Ajmal Yaqoob got first position, Atif Nasir got 3rd, Neelum hayat got 2nd, Benazir Gul got 1st position, Rozina Zafar obtained 2nd position while Hajara got a special award.

The whole team was under the supervision of Shehnaz Gul president GBWSA, Benazir Bano vice president GBWSA and Raja Riaz team manager.

Director General Sports Board Gilgit Baltistan Mr.Ajmal Bhattee was chief guest and he awarded the position holders with prizes.
