Gojal: Sanguine Foundation constructs foot bridge at GLOF site

Gilgit, May 13: (PR) The Sanguine Foundation, a local emergency response initiative, has constructed a foot bridge in the Yazyupk area, close to Hussani village, to facilitate commuters who had been facing difficulties due to destruction of the Karakuram Highway caused by a Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF).

An official of Sanguine Foundation told Pamir Times that the foot bridge is part of the organization’s strategy to help  disaster hit people in the region. 

It is pertinent to note that the Sanguine Foundation had started a private ambulance service in the disaster hit region when it was needed the most.

The initiative has been applauded by public circles.
