Gilgit: GB Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah has today told a number of senior journalists that there wouldn’t be any rigging in the upcoming regional elections. “There’s no chance of rigging in the elections because Gilgit-Baltistan will be the first province in the country to use bio-metric screening process during the elections”, he told the reporters at his office.
The Chief Minister has also said that NADRA will support the process of implementing the bio-metric system. He has said that GB being a smaller province can easily implement the system and set an example for other provinces.
