Trophy: Italian national hunts Himalyan Blue Sheep in Khunjerab

Gojal: An Italian hunter named Boieti Gian Carlo has hunted a Himalayan Blue Sheep in the Khunjrab Village Organization’s conservancy area, located in Gojal Valley, Upper Hunza.

According to details, the hunting took place on the 7th of March. As per law, eighty percent of the proceeds of the hunt will go to the community, while 20 percent will be shifted to the government. 

It is pertinent to note that conditional hunting of these animals is allowed according to law of the land. The hunters have to get a license and only animals above a certain age can be hunted, under the supervision of government officials and community representatives.
