The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) in collaboration with Karakuram Research Initiative (KRI) is organizing a conference on ‘Negotiating Change for Sustainability: The Art of Dialogue’ on August 6-7, 2017, in Passu, Gojal Hunza. The conference aims at initiating dialogues between a national/international scholar/practitioner and a local scholar/practitioner/community members.

We invite all the local, national and international researchers to submit their papers in one of the following topics under the main theme:
Ø Indigenous knowledge
Ø Social development
Ø China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
Ø Natural resource management
Ø Youth development
Ø Civil society.
Paper submissions; Electronic submissions of unpublished papers (MS Word format) can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for submission is July 15, 2017. Each paper should contain an abstract and provide author affiliations and contact information. All the papers should be submitted in English. We expect the selection process to be highly competitive, as only a dozen papers will be chosen. Travel and accommodations will be paid for speakers, discussants, and invited faculty.
