Elder brother of missing child complains of being threatened through phone calls, SMS
Gilgit: My 13-year-old brother, Ibrar, went missing one month back. We approached the police to lodge a complaint and register a case. So far the police has failed to recover my brother. Now, anonymous people are trying to intimidate and threaten me through SMS and calls.
This was said by Sartaj, a resident of Gilgit city, while talking to journalists today.
Providing more details, Sartaj said his brother, Ibrar, went missing while going from his home to market located on the Shaheed-e-Milat Road in Gilgit city on 31st of July. He said that despite of complaint, the police has not been able to recover his brother, or provide any other details in this regard.
Complaining that he is being threatened anonymously through phone calls and threatening SMS, Sartaj said that he has provided the cellphone numbers and other relevant details to the police.
He appealed to the Chief Minister, Commander FCNA and IGP to look into the case and help the family in recovering the child, and taking actions against those threatening him.
