Stunning Autumn Colors of Ancient Ganish Settlement in Hunza

HUNZA: Two UNESCO award winning Ganish village is one of the earliest settlements in Hunza. The village is known for historical buildings, ancient watch towers, traditional mosques and a water reservoir in Ganish Khun.

The 400-year Ali Gohar house was awarded the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2009. The heritage award of distinction for the year 2002 was also given to Ganish for preserving four 300 years historical mosques.
