7 people buried by landslide in Phuguch village of Darel Valley

Chilas: A landslide during construction and repair of a road has buried at least seven people in the remote Phuguch village of Darel Valley, District Diamer.

According to details, dozens of locals were busy repairing a road when a sudden landslide hit them, burying at least seven people. Locals have said that six of the people have died.

DC Diamer, along with officials of GBDMA have reached the area where search and rescue efforts are underway with the help of Rescue 1122, GBDMA officials and local volunteers
