Two locals and a domestic tourist missing after massive landslide in Ultar, Hunza

 

Hunza: Local volunteers have rescued two domestic tourists form mainland Pakistan after a massive landslide hit the Ultar glacier in Central Hunza, right behind the historic Baltit Fort.

Huge dark clouds of dust were seen rising above the fort, and covering the sky, creating panic and fear in the valley.

According to information confirmed by Ghulam Nabi, Station House Officer Aliabad, a domestic tourist from mainland Pakistan (details yet to be confirmed), and two locals have gone missing after the landslide.

The Hunza Valley is currently receiving a light rainfall.
