Ghizer administration imposes section 144 in areas around rivers, streams

GAHKUCH: Ghizer district administration has announced the imposition of section 144 in areas close to the rivers, bridges and streams.

According to a letter signed by Deputy Commissioner Shuja Alam, section 144 has been imposed for protection of lives. He has said that people are prohibited from collecting logs from the flowing rivers and streams, standing in groups on bridges, and standing on the banks of the streams (Nallahs) and rivers.

Section 144 will remain imposed for 20 days, starting on Friday, 20^th July.
