Baltistan University VC offers free education, scholarships, for female students of Diamer

SKARDU: (PR) Baltistan Universitys’ Vice Chancellor, Prof, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan has announced to provide free education and scholarship to female students belonging to Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan region.

He made the announcement during a walk organized to express solidarity with the students of Diamer. Students and faculty of Baltistan University participated in the walk.

Militants recently burnt down, and bombed, 14 schools in Diamer district. Half of the girls were girls-only.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting an operation in the district against the terrorists and their supporters.
