ISLAMABAD: A nurse, identified as Khush Bakht, has reportedly gone missing in Karachi.
According to reports circulating on social media, Khush Bakhat was reportedly working at a “Saifee Hospital” in North Nazimabad area of Karachi. She was a Nursing Assistant.
Last Friday she reportedly left her home located in the Ali Jiwani Housing Society for work in the morning and has gone missing since then. Apprehensive family members started searching for her when she did not reach home in the night. They approached the hospital and were told that she did not come for work on Friday. The hospital has reportedly refused to share CCTV footage of Friday with the family.
Effort to find whereabouts of Khush Bakht have yielded no result so far.
Social media reports say that she was not carrying a cellphone because her phone was snatched a few days back.
Social and political leaders of Ghizer, and other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, have expressed shock over the sudden disappearance and urged the IG of Police to take notice of the incident and launch investigation.
