Pakistan Army rescues 7 miners stranded in Upper Kohistan after heavy snowfall

: The Pakistan army has said that 7 miners stranded in the Upper Kohistan area due to heavy snowfall have been rescued.

ISPR said that the operation was launched at village Serto Lohi Jalkot near Supat Valley, Kohistan. The miners were stuck for last 72 hours due to heavy snowfall.

The rescued individuals have said that they had got to the Supat valley mountains to search for a semi-precious stone called “Paridot”.
