Distribution of Pashteen hat banned in Gilgit-Baltistan
GILGIT: The Gilgit-Baltistan administration has sprung into action after reports that a hat used by Manzoor Pasteen, a leader of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), has recently been transported to the region in large quantities.
Sources privy to the development have informed reporters that the hat has allegedly emerged as a propaganda tool used to develop a negative narrative against the state and defense forces of Pakistan.
Police and other law enforcement organizations have conducted raids in different parts of Gilgit city to stop the spread of the hat, according to local newspapers.
