Insaf Students Federation holding internal elections in Gilgit-Baltistan

Islamabad, Nov 17: Insaf Student Federation (ISF), youth wing of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is holding internal party elections in Gilgit-Baltistan on 18th November (today). An independent election commission has been established to conduct free, fair and transparent election, upholding principles of democracy in its true letter and spirit, a press release shared with the media read.

Central Vice Presdent ISF Pakistan, Ehsen Naveed will oversee the entire process and he will make sure strict implementation of all election procedures and rules of organization.

ISF GB election has been termed as “a landmark in politics of Gilgit-Baltistan, as it will  provide the youth of region to get trained, informed and learned,  preparing themselves to lead the region in future.”

The forum will bring young minds belonging to different regions, sects, and ethnicity speaking different languages under one umbrella, synergizing their talents and skills for betterment of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. It will provide the youth to voice against ‘constitutional orphanage, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and disease’ in the region in an organized and peaceful way.

All youth of Gilgit-baltistan have been requested in the press statement to become members of ISF GB and play their role to make Gilgit-Baltistan, a democratic, peaceful, developed and educated region of Pakistan.

  1. What are the results???Are the elected members giving true picture according to population demographics of GB ,or only one community will show hegemony??
