“Jeeye Dan Mamma”, a Burushaski Song for Mother’s Day

Rahimullah Rahim is a renowned singer from the Hunza Valley. In this Burushaski language song he praises a mother, calling her a beautiful and lovely angels sent by God. He also tells about longing for being close with one’s mother and knowing her love, while being away from her. He also says that his soul is indebted to his mother for all her care, compassion and love.
