Avalanche rescue training held at Naltar

GILGIT, March 13: Focus Humanitarian Assistance Pakistan, with the help of an expert from Switzerland, organised an avalanche rescue training at Naltar, Gilgit.

The training covered themes such as: overview and analysis of available rescue and survival means, electronic search, basic search techniques, advanced search techniques for multiple and deep burials, practical application of different search strategies in a workshop situation and application of different search techniques in complicated and mixed scenarios.
