Tributes paid to Lalak Jan Shaheed
Gilgit, September 06: Northern Areas along with the other parts of Pakistan is also celebrating the
Defence Day of Pakistan with great zeal and fervour.
In connection with the Defence Day of Pakistan, the main and major ceremony was held at Hundur, Yasin Valley, the village of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan -e- Haider.
The Force Commander Northern Areas, Major General Muzammil Hussain laid floral wreaths on the tomb of the martyr Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider and leading a smart contingent of Northern Light Infantry presented an impressive guard of honour, while prayers for the integrity and security of the country was also held on this occasion.
Later, in the ceremony attended by the parents and children of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider besides senior civil, military officials and ulema-e-Deen, Major General Muzammil Hussain paid glowing tributes to those martyred, who sacrificed their lives for the defence of the country.

Absolutely! what bigger feat can be to be connected to the name of the Lion of Allah….Haider, the master of all brave and courageous. Lalak jan showed that he lived like Ali Ibne Abi Talib and passed valiantly like Hussain bin Ali.
