64th Independence day celebrated at Pamir College, Chitral

CHITRAL:  To commemorate 64th Independence Day  of Pakistan a colorful event was held at Pamir School and Degree College Garamchishma in Tehsil Lutkoh. The ceremony was presided over by Engineer Azizur Rehman while Mufti Mutiur Rehman was chief guest on the occasion. Students (both boys and girls) of different government and private schools, colleges as well as Religious Madaras (schools) participated in Naath Sharif and Qasida competition. While girls students performed different event with a very excellent way and enthralled the participants. In Qaseeda competition different girls students took part and Miss Shaheena of Pamir College and Mihnaz Bibi of Community Based school Virkop were declared first position holders. In the same competition Farzana of Global Commerce college Garamchishma secured second position.

While in  Naath competition boys and girls students of different schools and colleges presented Naath in very rhetoric tune.  Zarin Taj, Saira Naz, of Injigan School and Abida Bibi of Community Based School Ovirk were announced first position holders. Muraduddin of Pamir College achieved second position,  Imtiaz Ahmad of Global Commerce college was declared third position holder.

Addressing on the occasion principal of Pamir Degree College Islamuddin highlighted importance of this day and briefed the students that whey we celebrate this day every year on 14th August. Because on this day our mother land Pakistan was come into being and we were declared an independent nation while we were just slave before that because of aggression on Muslims by Hindus and British. Besides him Mufti Matuer Rehman and Engineer Azizur Rehman also delivered speech on the occasion. They said that independence is a blessing of Allah Almighty and we should to protect our country from any internal and external conspiracy causing to harm to our mother land. They stressed on students to must love your country because our country is just like of our mother and a mother always provide best shelter to her children.  They said that no one will be safe if this country not existed and there is our moral obligatory to render each sacrifice for sovereignty and protection of our mother land. The situation what so ever but we are free in our country and can raise voice for our rights while before the creation of Pakistan it was not possible to demand for our genuine rights.

At last chief guest distributed awards among position holders students. A large number of male and female students as well as parents, teachers, representatives of civil societies and social workers participated and enthralled from these colorful programs. Students especially girls students presented Naath and Qasida with Rabab, Gharba and Daf in a very attractive ways which was highly appreciated by the audiences.

I want to thank Mr Islamudin sir for giving awareness in such occassions. it is realy very fruitful to the people inhabitant in this area. the students will not be underestimated and will improve their confidence and they will be ready to take challenges in future. I appreciate the whole management of Pamir for conducting such a fruitful program.
