Water level in Sadpara Dam drops, people fear power crisis in Skardu

The level of water in Sadpara Dam has, reportedly, dropped by around 30 ft, as compared to last year. The city of Skardu is already facing shortage of electricity and the drop in water level might mean more power cuts in the months ahead. Local people have demanded of the authorities to take notice of the situation and take remedial steps.
