GB Cabinet shuffle: Bashir replaces Naseer

Islamabad, November 17: Former opposition leader in GBLA, Bashir Ahmed, will replace Naseer Ahmed as minister for Housing and Construction.

The decision was taken today during a meeting held at the President House, in Islamabad.

Naseer was made the minister for minerals, Excise & Taxation  and Zakat.

Naseer has welcomed the decision.

It is pertinent to note that Bashir belongs to PML(Q) and his ascent to the ministerial position has been possible due to the alliance formed between his party and PPP at the federal level.

Bashir has said that he will do his utmost to improve the NAPWD, believed to be one of the most corrupt and least efficient organizations in Gilgit – Baltistan.
