Birth anniversary of ZA Bhutto celebrated across Gilgit – Baltistan,

Gilgit, January 5: The 84th  birth anniversary of former prime minister and   the founder of Pakistan Peoples Party   Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was celebrated across Gilgit-Baltistan.

Cake cutting ceremonies were held in all district head quarters leaders and workers of ppp attended the functions and paid tribute for his  services to the country and welfare of the people.

In Islamabad a function was held in GB house governor Pir Karam Ali Shad was the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah paid great homage to him and said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had introduced ever first historical reforms and included the Gilgit Baltistan people in the national mainstream.

 Speaker Legislative Assembly Wazir Baig said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto has abolished FCR and introduced democracy in Gilgit-Baltistan.

In Skardu a big function was held in District Hall on Thursday which was presided over by President Pakistan Peoples Party Skardu district Abdullah Haideri.  An eighty four pounds birthday cake was cut in the function.

Speaking on the occasion the speakers threw light on the achievements and services rendered by the Shaheed Prime Minister of Pakistan for Islamic Unity‚ National integrity of Pakistan and especially his great reforms for the people of Gilgit Baltistan during his regime.

 Fateha was also offered for the soul of the late Prime Minister.

 Birthday celebration were also held in Khaplu‚ Roundo‚ Kharmang and Shiger Sub Divisions.
