Musharraf Super Star Football Tournament kicked off today

CHITRAL: Nojawan Society Drosh (Youth society) kick started Musharaf Super Star Football tournament 2012 at Drosh some 45 KM from here. Member provincial Assembly Haji Ghulam Muhammad was chief guest at the inaugural match. 32 Football Teams from Chitral are participating in this tournament. Students of different schools presented national Anthem with the beat of drums during national flag hoisting and they presented Naath and Hamd Sharif.
Chief guest was warmly welcomed by the local and players on his arrival at Drosh he introduced with players in play ground and advised them to play only for the sack of game and should avoid from any violation. First football match was played between Drosh 1 and Drosh 2 teams.
Speaking in his welcome address Muhammad Usman president of Nojawan society Drosh said that youth of Drosh have great potential and talent as well as they are very fond of football and different games but unfortunately they have no public stadium to enhance by exercising their skill and they are compelled to approach and request Chitral scouts authorities to get permission for playing match at their football ground (Col Murad memorial stadium) of Drosh. He demanded from federal and provincial government for releasing special fund for establishment of a public stadium for the youth of Drosh. Shahzada Khalid Parvez president of All Pakistan Muslim League said while addressing to inaugural ceremony of Musharaf Super star football tournament that youth of Drosh are very fond of Football and other games but they facing great problems due to lack of opportunities. He also urged on the authorities for construction of stadium at Drosh immediately. Chairman Fazal Rehman also hailed commitment and endeavors services of Drosh people.
Chief Guest MPA upper Chitral Haji Ghulam Muhammad assured for lobbing to fulfill genuine demand of Drosh people. He said that I will try of my best to allocate fund by provincial government for establishment of play ground at Drosh. He announced of 30000 for organizing committee and assured them for rendering of all possible support to youth of the area. He urged on youth to avoid from any social evils and drugs and must engage in games during their spare times. A large number of people enjoyed interesting match of football at Col Murad memorial stadium Drosh.
