Kalash: Traditional “Snow Golf” games are underway in the Bumburat sub-valley of the Kalash region of Chitral. Teams from different parts of the valley are competing to fight the cold and enjoy the days when other activities come to a halt due to harsh weather. Final match of the games will be held on 24th of February.
In this interesting and unique game the players have to hit a ball with a specially prepared stick, resembling a hockey stick and for several kilometers to collect the ball, made of wood or rubber. It resembles baseball, but the rules are quite different.
