GBPLA irked by delays in approval of ‘Timescale’

Gilgit, March 25 (PR): The Gilgit-Baltistan Professors and Lecturers Association (GBPLA) has expressed anger and resentment at the undue delays in release of notification for approval of Timescale.

According to a press statement, the Association has urged the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to take notice of the delays and provide justice to the professors and lecturers who have been waiting for the notification for almost 18 months.

Officials of the association, including President Awais Ahmed and vice-president Hasan Shad, have said that the finance minister and education minister initially took a lot of interest in the issue but later left the professors and lecturers high and dry.
