Organization for Educational Change (OEC) holds its team Orientation Session

The Team Orientation Session of Organization for Educational Change was held in Gilgit at Riveria Hotel on Friday 1st August, 2014 to elect new Chairperson Monitoring and Advisory council (M&A) and Members of the Executive Body.

The Session brings all the newly elected members and goodwill partners of Organization of Educational Change on board to establishing the framework for a positive work environment and inform new members about rules, regulation and functioning of the organization.

Starting with the recitation of Holy Quran, The event started by new members introducing themselves to attendees. Further, it went on to illustrate the key milestones achieved in the previous year.

President Oec Khayam M .Beg breifed the new volunteers and executive team about the working mechanism  and struture of oec complying with its 5 mega projects that includes Expos, educure Magazine, IFL and u-grad scholarhips, Oec Summer Camp and Oec Discover Gb

Mr Naubahar Rafi took oath from Ms Tajalil Abid as newly appointed Chairperson M&A council. In their address both the outgoing and new Chairpersons shared their experience and vision for future activities. Mr Javed Iqbal (Director OEC Educational Expo) briefed audience about upcoming events and projects of OEC.

Later on, Question and Answer session took place where each member participated, asked queries and shared their valued ideas.

OEC’s goodwill partners, Raees Kamil Jan Baigal (Founder GBVM) and Mr Piyar Ali (Development Practitioner) expressed their views on various projects of OEC and appreciated the efforts of OEC in ensuring a healthy education movement in Society. They believe that this student led ngo in future can act as a tourch bearer on tables of Educational Policy and come as an imporatant holder in the G-B education Sector.
