SCOM launching cellular services in Passu and surrounding areas today

Gilgit, September 2: The Special Communications Organization (SCO) will launch its cellular service in Passu and surrounding areas from today.

According to an official update, the fixation of a mobile tower in the Qunghust area of Passu has been completed and the services will start today on test basis. The signals from the Qunghust mobile tower can be received in central Passu, Jonabod, lower areas of Batura, Hussani, Ghulkin, Gulmit, Shishkat and Ayeenabad, some of the villages of lower Gojal.
