Chilas: Court sends Thekedar Asfandyar along with 11 PWD officers to jail

Chilas: A court, in an unprecedented decision, has sent a very influential contractor named Asfandyar behind the bars along with 11 PWD officers. The PWD officers include an Executive Engineer, an Assistant Executive Engineer and Sub-Engineers.

According to details, the court made the decision cancelling bails obtained by the individuals in cases number 409, 406, 420, 471 and 34/486. They stand convicted for making advance payments and failing to complete the Chilas Greater Water Supply Scheme.
