22 year old girl ‘commits suicide’ in Ghanche district

Khaplu: A 22 year old girl reportedly finished her life today by jumping in the Shiyok river in the Ghanche district of Gilgit-Baltistan. The girl’s dead body was recovered by the police from the river. The body was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Khaplu, where a team led by Dr. Ghulam Haider carried out autopsy procedures.

The deceased girl was reportedly a resident of Kharkoh village.
