White Cap and Shaati to be part of GB Traffic Police Uniform

Gilgit: Traffic police officials in Gilgit-Baltistan will start wearing white traditional woolen cap and Shaati (synthetic feather), as part of their modified uniform. The decision has been confirmed by IG Police Capt (r) Zafar Iqbal Awan.

The IG along with other top police officials presented the traditional hats and feathers to traffic police officials during a ceremony in Gilgit today.

It is pertinent to note that the Gilgit-Baltistan government had celebrated Traditional Cap and Shaati day in October this year.
