Pak-China border opens for traffic

Gilgit: Sino-Pakistan Border has been opened for traffic. Three vehicles left for China today from the border town of Sost carrying passengers. The border has been opened after four months.

The border is closed annually during the winter season due to excessive snowfall in the Khunzhrav top area, which makes transportation very difficult.
