GBians attended 4th International Festival of Falconry in Abu Dhabi

GILGIT: Shahid Ali and Dr. Kaka Jan from Gilgti-Baltistan attended the six-day 4th International Festival of Falconry 2017 along with over 700 falconers, researchers and experts from over 90 countries, held in in Abu Dhabi.
The festival included a series of workshops, conferences, desert camps and exhibitions in which the participants discussed falconry-related issues, such as the heritage of falconry throughout history and international hunting agreements and legislation.
UNESCO, in 2010, declared falconry as a live human heritage among the representative list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (ICH)
