Ghanche, like other districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, braces to celebrate Cultural Cap Day

Ghanche: District administration Ghanche has decided to celebrate Topi Shanti (cap day) befittingly on 9th of May as part of the provincial  government’s efforts aimed at highlighting and promoting the Gilgit-Baltistan region’s unique cultural heritage and identity.

According to a press release, issued by Deputy Commissioner Office Ghanche, Topi Shanti day is being celebrated in Ghanche. Large numbers of people are expected to wear their traditional hats on the 9th of May, and also participate in different events and walks.

A seminar will also be organized at Degree College Khaplu on the “Cultural Hat Day”.

Similar events will also be held in the other nine districts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
