Gilgit-Baltistan at the National Games

Islamabad: National Games were held after two years, in which athletes from different departments and provinces of Pakistan participated. Gilgit-Baltistan was also represented at the National Games in a significant manner, along with teams from Army, Navy, Railways, Blochistan, Punjab, KPK, AJK, Sindh and FATA.
Athletes from Gilgit-Baltistan participated in Athletics, Taekwondo, Karate, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Badminton.
Officials of team Gilgit-Baltistan were Colonel Rtr Karim Ahmad Manager Athletics, Asmat Ali Changaizi Secretary GB Court, Shahid Shigri Team Official, Nasir Hussain Coach Taekwondo, Ashfaq Hussain Long Tennis Coach, Zaheer Hussain Manager Team GB and Nazakat Hussain Manager Taekwondo.
We need to promote Gilgit- Baltistan in nation and international level…….We need practice and coaching for national games otherwise its very difficult to compete with them.
