Islamabad: The central leadership of PML-Q has decided to sack chief executive Northern Areas Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan and member Nala Imran Nadeem from the central executive committee of the party for violating party rules and by-laws, reliable sources told this reporter.
The sources revealed that president PML-Q Gilgit-Baltistan Abdul Wahid and secretary general Basher Ahmed Khan would replace the two. The party however, will make a formal announcement in this regard soon, said the sources.
In a meeting with the party’s in-charge for Gilgit-Baltistan Marvi Memon held in Lahore recently, PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain took the decision. Ms Memon briefed Shujaat regarding the party activities in Gilgit-Baltistan while the situation fir the coming elections was also discussed. The PML-Q chief expressed his concerns over the violation of party rules and regulations in the region and said the violators will never be given a second chance. He said they would work for the party organization and said party workers will be taken care of. Ms Memon will soon visit Gilgit-Baltistan in this regard.
