This is great initiative by the Vice chancellor Pro. Dr. Najma Najam for the development of KIU. KIU needs the collaboration of Pakistan’s best universities like Punjab University to enhance their efficiency in academic and other social activities.
Weldon ! Professor sahiba and your team : That is what the institutions of the country need. KIU,very young but very preitigious as serving one of the most literate regions of Pakistan located and situated at the cross-road for central, western and south Asian countries.
The youth of Gilgit-Baltistan, as others, are precious asset of the nation. So building KIU is caring the future leadership of the region. HEC can play a good role by initiating linking policies for the Pakistani Universities. Thus through collaboration we can improve the good governance and creative teaching practices that we lacking in every institution of our country– be they State Organisations or Civil Society Organisations.
I very much appreciate your delegated visit to the PU.
Its good to visit PU but with objective ojective for learning regarding examination and administration which i do not think PU has its experties.Every one knows the examination system of PU is of colonial era.Similary when the northern areas college affiliation with PU at that time we know how their behavoiur with us with discriminated rules. You can varify my statement from ohter gradutes of GB as well of that time.No doubt biggest university but one can tell is there any recent reaserch in the field of biological sciences and information technology? You people better know the answers of these quetions.
So its better to visit those institutions which has experties.Like in examination and efficient administration AKU-IED , for information technology FAST, NUST etc.
