Now this is time to have patience as all the claims of the responsible authorities have resulted in nothing and the alarming situation which was feared is now in place. All we need to have at this moment is patience. We have not lost everything and neither we are going to loose everything. We know how to build on the rabbles of the disaster. We know how to continue our voyage in face of the cruel waves. We know how to shape our destiny with help of our hope, aspiration, commitment and determination. We have to face these challenges as there is no other way and time will tell that what follows this disaster will be a world of opportunities. So keep your spirits high. Pathetic…….. My dear people of Gojal and especially Shimshal, since January 4, on a daily basis, I have been following the ongoing disaster after the rockfall, with the lake rising every hour and endangering everything and everybody. And now even the vital link, the bridge of Shishkat, will be lost forever. It is an unbelievable shame that the Government of Pakistan has neg- lected the urgent needs of the people of Gojal up to now. I can only pray to God that, finally, there will be a tolerable solution… God bless you all Christiane Comments are closed.
