“I will resign if Dr. Nazeem is made the secretary health”, Syed Mehdi Shah

Gilgit, April 10: Chief minister of Gilgit – Baltistan has said that he will resign if a director of the health department is made health secretary of the government of Gilgit – Baltistan. “I would not tolerate corruption and mismanagement at any level”, the chief minister has reportedly said. There are allegations of corruption against the director health, Dr Nazeem Khan.
The chief minister, reportedly, has directed the secretary health Dr Sohail Saqlain to initiate an inquiry against Dr Nazeem. A committee under the home secretary would be constituted to investigate the allegations of corruption.
Talking to journalists yesterday the chief minister had rejected the news about Dr. Nazeem’s promotion. “I will resign if Dr Nazeem is made the health secretary”, he threatened.
Instead of saying “I will resign” the CM should have said “I will not let Dr. Nazeem appointed as health secretary.”

It shows powerlessness of our rubber stap CM, though he was claiming that his power is equavelent to CM Shehbaz Sharif’s. He had also asked media as well as GB Council members to shun their misconception abut his authority…. His this statement shows that he even does not have tha power and authority to nominate a government official. He should better go home than.

I would recommend this illitrate CM(Mehdi Shah Sahib) to act on his words immediately and resign from this position because he is not fit for this position.

These leaders (in an objective sense) do not belong to us and we need someone beyond the ordinary capabilities.
Since Mehdi shah relies on his party rather than his ’empowerment rights’, so his direct ‘EGO’ might play some role for hiiiiiiimmmmm, otherwise he won’t be able to ‘mun dikhaney ke qabil’.
This is the level of our leaders dears….. we can only pray for them.
