Gilgit city deprived of electricity

Gilgit, March 26: Residence of Gilgit have been facing 13 to 14 hours load-shedding daily since November 2010. All efforts of PWD to end the power cricis  have badly failed.
Concerned authorities argue that there is shortage of water in Naltar Nala therefore they can not find any way to overcome the problem. On the other hand rejecting  this point of view local people believe that  water shortage is generally recorded  during the months of November, December and January, when temperature is very low.
The local people think that concerned authorities were not taking serious notice of their problems.
Loassheding is also affecting cricket lovers because they are deprived of watchiching world cup matches. People have demanded of the govt to take solid measures for ending power crisis in the capital city of Gilgit – Baltistan.
