Islamabad—Market research for producing value-added fruit products in Gilgit-Baltistan would be carried out in order to earn foreign exchange. This was stated by the Chairman Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Dr. Shaukat Pervez while talking to a delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The subject of the meeting was “Detailed Planning Survey on the promotion of value added Fruit Products in Giligit-Biltistan”, says a statement issued here. Jcbiro Kajiura, NTC International Co-Ltd, Seiji Suigoto, Japan Development Service Co-Ltd, Ms Chiyo Mamiya, Kahastu Management Consulting-Inc, and Dr.SS Tahir, Member Science PCSIR were also present in the meeting.—APP
