Major Shakeup in top GB bureaucracy, Hafeez-ur-Rehman appointed Additional Registrar of SAC

Islamabad/Gilgit: According to a notification former Law Secretary of GB, Hafeez-ur-Rehman, has been appointed Additional Registrar of GB Supreme Appellate Court (SAC) with effect from January 5, 2012. He has been appointed on contract for a period of three years.
APP reports that according to a a Services Department notification ecretary Forest Abdul Hamid has been posted as Secretary Mineral, Abdul Qayyum as Secretary Science and Technology, Khadim Hussain Secretary Forest, Naib Khan Secretary Agriculture and Fisheries, Muhammad Ali Yougvi Secretary Food and Dr Faisal Zahoor as Secretary Health.
The notification further disclosed that Chief Engineer Ghulam Mehdi to look after as Secretary Water and Power.
The GB government has also appointed Basharat as Additional Deputy Commissioner Skardu while Momin Jan has been transferred as Additional Deputy Commissioner Gilgit.
Likewise, Tariq Hussain has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner Diamer while Mir Waqar Ahmed as Deputy Secretary Services and Ehsan has been made Deputy Secretary General Administration.
According to the notification, Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshid currently posted at Investigation wing has been transferred to Astore.
Similarly, Mir Tufail Ahmed presently under training at National Police Academy has been made SP Ghanche.
The notification further said that Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Sultan Azam has been appointed as head of Special Branch, while AIG Nasrat has been made Inspector General Jail.
Similarly, Ahmed Ali Shah is appointed as AIG Operation while SP Farman is transferred to Ghizer district.
Assistant Director Anwar Jamal is appointed as Controller GB House Islamabad while Assistant Commissioner (AC) Khapulo Babar Bashir is posted as Assistant Commissioner Nagar.
AC Nagir Abdul Shakor is posted to Skardu while Abid Ali is sent to Skardu.
AC Shuja Alam is posted to Gupis, Ikram-ul-Haq as AC Puniya while AC Rizwan Qadir has been transferred to Hunza. (APP).
