Gilgit: Educational institutions to remain closed till March 4: DC

Gilgit, March 1: Deputy Commissioner Gilgit has announced that educational institutes would remain closed till March 4. This decision has been taken to ensure that no untoward incident takes place as the region mourns their dead who were killed by unknown mercenaries in Kohistan District of KP.

Most of the districts here saw no business activities on the third day since the indiscriminate killings of innocent people. All the sixteen martyrs have been buried in their respective villages. Earlier, it was decided to close down schools and colleges for three days.
